Uniform Policy

EMS Dress Code

EMS students wear uniforms.  Exceptions to the EMS Dress Code are dress down days, theme days, or Spirit Days.  Student ID’s provide a professional setting and promote College and Career readiness for all students.  ID’s are required at all times. Parents and Students are asked to help EMS create a safe and orderly environment for all!

 

The uniform:

 

Shirts:

  • Solid black, khaki, navy blue, grey or white

  • collared shirts

  • small logos ok

 

Pants/Shorts/Skirts:  

  • Solid black, khaki, grey or navy blue

  • Shorts, skirts, or skorts should be an appropriate length (no shorter than 4 inches above the knee).  

  • Must be fitted at the waist or worn with a belt.  NO SAGGING.

 

Jackets/Coats:

  • Solid black, khaki, navy blue, white or grey.  

  • Hoods cannot be up.

  • Heavy coats should be secured in your lockers at the beginning of the school day.

 

Shoes:  

  • Students should wear shoes that are secured on their feet, such as tennis shoes or shoes that have a strap or enclosed heal.  

  • No flip flops, slides, shower shoes, or house slippers of any kind.

 

String Bags and Backpacks may be worn to class.

 

 

****Not allowed in the building are the following items:  Stocking caps, hats, bandanas, “doo rags,” picks, and sunglasses are not allowed to be worn in the building. .******

 

If you lose your ID, another one can be purchased in the office for $3
